To trace: precision of the gesture
In our early days, we used 0.5 mm tips.
Then came the search for finer lines: first 0.3 mm, then finally 0.2 mm.
For large patterns or gradients, opt for metal tips; for fine, regular lines, the 0.2 mm transparent tip remains the standard.
TRANSFER: prepare the skin
For years, we used transparent overlays (simple plastic bags). It was practical and portable, but not very precise.
Then the carbon stencils changed the way we work: a fast and clean transfer, applied using an organic aloe vera gel.
And to start again in case of incorrect placement, a cleaning spray removes everything easily without irritating the skin.
PROTECT: control the shade
Biodegradable gloves have become our way of keeping our hands clean and inspiring confidence.
The non-woven adhesive tape retains the heat of the skin: it helps the jagua stain set deeper and denser.
However, it should be avoided in hot weather or on areas that move, where it could cause the lines to smear.
